The pricing above covers our standard formatting services for Word documents. If your manuscript needs extra work to meet publishing standards, we'll provide a separate quote for those adjustments.
To ensure the best possible final product, we recommend having your manuscript proofread before formatting. While we carefully format your document, our primary focus is on the structure and layout, not content accuracy.
HOW TO ORDER
- Choose the formatting service/s you need from the dropdown below.
- Click on the Add to Cart button and check out when you're done. You will be taken to Paypal for secure payments.
- When we receive the payment notification, we will reply to confirm your order.
- Send us the WORD manuscript through EMAIL.
WHAT WE NEED:
- Final WORD manuscript. (If your manuscript is not in WORD and you need us to extract from a PDF, please email us first.)
- Include a high resolution photo of you, your bio, and your social media links (for eBooks). If you want to include links in the print format, it is recommended that you shorten the links.
- For paperback or hardcover formatting, please send us your preferred size. (5x8, 6x9, etc.)
- If you want to add an "Other Titles by Author" page, please send us your book links (for eBooks).
Turnaround time is 5 business days per format, minimum, after we receive the order and the manuscript.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- You will receive an ePub file, ready for upload. (We recommend using an ePub viewer to preview the file.)
- For paperbacks, you will receive a PDF file.
The formatted source WORD manuscript is NOT included.

FORMATTING TERMS and CONDITIONS
- We fix our formatting mistakes free of charge. However, revisions after finalization, including content edits, format changes, image adjustments, or layout modifications, are considered separate projects and will incur additional fees.
- To ensure we meet your preferences, provide specific formatting requests before we begin. Otherwise, we'll use our professional style guide.
- Your final manuscript will be delivered in your chosen format (ePub or PDF) as agreed upon. The formatted Word file is not included.
- Credit to The Book Khaleesi for interior formatting will be added to the manuscript's copyright page.
By ordering the service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to these terms.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous job Book Khaleesi did of formatting a manual for me that required lots of different styles. I've formatted books myself with Word and loathed the task. I've used other professional companies to format books for me, and almost without exception, they made errors and charged way more. Book Khaleesi got it the right the first time around and was cost-effective too. Eeva was a joy to work with, and Samantha was always very helpful when she was involved. Thank you!
