1. Line Editing / Proofreading
Our professional line editing service is offered at an affordable rate, depending on the scope of work. This service includes line edits, proofreading, and ePub formatting. If your manuscript has already been professionally edited, you may opt for our proofreading service alone to polish and perfect your work.
2. Payment Structure
For Projects Over $1,000
- Downpayment: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your slot in our editor’s schedule.
- Balance: The remaining 50% is due after editing is completed and before we proceed with proofreading and formatting.
For Projects Under $1,000
- • Payment: Full payment is required upfront to secure your editor’s slot.
3. Our Editing Process
We do more than leave comments. We take a hands-on approach, editing your manuscript directly to improve clarity, flow, structure, and overall readability. This method is especially helpful for writers who want more support throughout the process. Before we begin, you may let us know if you have specific editing needs or requests.
After editing, you will receive two files:
- A file with all edits visible using Microsoft Word’s Track Changes.
- A clean, formatted file with all edits incorporated for your review.
4. Your Creative Control
Your voice matters. After receiving the edited manuscript, you may review all changes and make any adjustments you wish. When ready, simply return the manuscript to us for final formatting.
