STORY SOUNDTRACK TERMS OF SERVICE
1. Agreement to Terms
By engaging in The Book Khaleesi's Story Soundtracks service, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
2. Service Description
The Story Soundtrack service includes the creation of original music composition and lyrics based on your book’s synopsis. Optional services such as book trailers may also be provided, depending on the selected package.
3. Copyright and Usage Rights
3.1 Original Copyright: The Book Khaleesi retains the original copyright to all music and lyrics created under this service.
3.2 License to Use: The Client will be granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use and distribute the music and lyrics for their book, including in book trailers, promotional materials, and other related media.
3.3 Credit Requirement: The Client must credit The Book Khaleesi as the creator of the music and lyrics in any usage or distribution. The following credit line must be included: "Story Soundtrack by Eeva Lancaster, The Book Khaleesi."
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Fees: The fees for the Story Soundtrack service will depend on the specific package selected.
4.2 Payment Schedule: Full payment is required before the service begins. Payment details will be provided in the invoice.
4.3 Refunds: Refunds will only be provided in cases where The Book Khaleesi fails to deliver the agreed-upon services. Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction with the creative work once it has been completed and delivered.
5. No Revisions
5.2 Final Product: The Client acknowledges that the Story Soundtracks service does not include any revisions. The final product delivered will be considered complete and final.
6. Delivery
6.1 Delivery Timeframe: The Book Khaleesi will deliver the final product within the agreed-upon timeframe, which will be communicated before the start of the project.
6.2 Delivery Format: The music and lyrics will be delivered in MP3 format and a lyric video.
7. Client Responsibilities
7.1 Accurate Information: The Client must provide accurate and complete information, including the book synopsis and any specific requirements for the music or lyrics.
7.2 Timely Communication: The Client must respond promptly to requests for feedback or information to avoid delays in the project.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Book Khaleesi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of the Story Soundtracks service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the service.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Book Khaleesi operates.
11. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients with ongoing projects will be notified of any significant changes.
